Very young children are allowed, but parents need to bring life vests for children under four years of age; the Coast Guard cannot guarantee the boat's life rings will fit toddlers.
The park is located on State Hwy. 225 4.5 miles north of its intersection with Hwy. 31 in Spanish Fort (approximately 5 miles north of I-10) and ca. 15 miles south of I-65.
Arrive at park at least thirty minutes prior to boarding to allow for travel time and to check-in and board.
Plenty of parking at dock area.
Guests may bring bottled water and snacks if desired.
Cruise tickets are nonrefundable, but may be transferred to any other cruise or park facility rental in the event you need to cancel.
For safety reasons, the boat cannot go out in lightning and heavy thunderstorms. Cruises will take place as scheduled if only light precipitation is forecasted.
Very nice cruise. Comfortable, roomy seating. Restroom on board, which is handy. Informative and fun. Will definitely plan another cruise.
We had a great time and also enjoyed riding through the park
I wished we would have gone north and got more into the delta instead of heading south and out into the bay.
A nice morning on the bay with two superb men of great knowledge.
I learned a lot about lower Alabama. I enjoyed seeing the different waters fowl and fauna.
Had a great time, and the weather was perfect. Captain and made knew their stuff
Absolutely wonderful! The captain was ber entertaining!
The cruise was very enjoyable and the scenery was beautiful. The Captain took the time to stop and explain the history of life on the Delta and what types of wildlife lives in the Delta. I would definitely recommend the cruise!
Everything was really great except for the boats PA system. It needs a little work so that everyone can enjoy the commentary.
